I participated in a very entertaining event today - a Fun-Drag Race at a small airfield. It was just a head-to-head race started old-school with a flag - so I don't have any timeslips to post. But I have videos! They're a bit boring, though - you only see my opponents rolling to the starting line and then just me First pass was a trial run, against a late model Boss 302 Mustang. Video from inside the car: Cellphone Video from outside: https://www.facebook.com/petra.heupel/videos/vb.100000082308782/1088982427781157/ Second pass was against a 1966 Barracuda with a 340 engine: Third pass was a fun one, against a 1960 F100 with a Corvette LS1 engine. I know the owner, and he has a drag racing background with lots of quick cars: Outside video: Fourth against a late model Mustang: Fifth and last against another late model Mustang. Took the kid of a friend with me, you can also see it started to rain. So this was the last pass for the day: Outside video: And another one from the outside: https://www.facebook.com/jacky.ja.758/videos/o.337512583036307/1053468581347999/ Didn't get to do any more passes due to rain. I might attend other events like this, they are few and far in between, but i'd like to have a timeslip for the car. the barracuda supposedly runs 13s, and the F100 12s...
