I bought the car as a rolling chassis for $2500.00.
    71 Maverick 10.JPG
Then I purchased a Rod and Custom Mustang II front conversion with 2 inch drop spindles.
    71 Maverick 34.JPG 71 Maverick 41.JPG
Now that the front has the right stance now back to Savage Performance to get the back right. Had a custom 4 link designed for the back with a 9 inch rear end and 96 Mustang disc brakes.
    71 Maverick 53.jpg 71 Maverick 55.jpg
Grafted a 1968 Shelby GT500 tail light panel into the back. With a 69 Mach 1 hood scoop with functional turn signal indicators that will work.
    71 Maverick 67.JPG 71 Maverick 66.JPG
Power comes from a 351W with an Ford X303 cam and a Trick Flow upper end. Controlling the motor is a 92 mustang CPU using Ford motorsports hot rod wiring harness. Going thru a T-56 transmission. Using a American Power Trains Hydraulic clutch master cylinder and throw out bearing.
    71 Maverick 69.JPG
Brakes will be controlled by a Rod and Custom Power brake booster with a Wilwood master cylinder. Went to painless for my wiring needs and Ididit for my steering column. New 19 gallon gas tank and installing an in tank fuel pump to feed the motor.
Rims are from American racing I have 17X7 with 225r55/17 in front and 17X9 with 275r45/17 in back.
when I get more done I'll post more.

go on.......................tell us more.........................dont be stingy .............................tell us everything .....................I see lots of good stuff happening I thought WOW $2500 for a rolling shell BUT I can see how just about perfec tthe body is so I guess its a trade off more money no rust or dents even a decent looking original paint job or LOTS rust and less money
