I'm in the process of upgrading/updating my 75 comet brake system. I've already replaced the rear drum shoes, springs, ect. I'm up to the front now and was wondering if there are any performance brake calipers to upgrade from the single piston stockers.. I've looked on summit and found that they still re manufacture originals, but is it the only option? Thanks..:tiphat::tiphat:

I wouldn't think so without changing the caliper mounting bracket also.

There are lots of aftermarket caliper kit upgrades. I replaced my stock front calipers as well as swapped out the rear drums for calipers.

It is pricey, even for entry-level kits.

    Hi Chase:
Rod & Custom Motorsports,Inc. ( 843-629-1273) make a beautiful setup including the Spindles . We've installed their setup on two cars so far and they work great. Just thought I'd mention it .
