    I remember some of them going over 600 with no front lip rust through - some way over 600 - it is hard to tell, by the picture, what the condition of the top hood surface is like

    Depends on who you ask. Some people ask reasonable prices while others think they're worth their weight in gold.

    To me, a hood with no rust and no damage is worth $300-$500.
    Any more than that and I'd rather just get a carbon fiber Grabber hood.

    I wouldn't say it went "cheap". I'd say it was reasonable.
