image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg i am swaping out a fuse box and the wiring harness from a 1973 4 door maverick into my 1970 2 door. Would the wiring harness on the 1973 be the same as the 1970?

As I said on FB.....totally different. A lot of the plugs under the dash and hood are different.

What is wrong with the wiring harness on your 1970 that you need a different one?

i was trying to sand down the clips that hold the fuses because there was no current running through. i successfuly sanded down the fuse clips that were for the cluster lights because they weren't working. i then sanded down terminal 2 because there was no current going through and thats when the clips that hold the fuse came out.

You could probably just replace the interior wiring harness....and plug it into your existing front and rear harnesses.

As rusty as that fuse box is...how rusty is the rest of the car?

The car is pretty straight now. I replaced the floor pans. The only rust is on the driver side door

It comes apart easy. Just disconnect the battery then remove the bolt in the center of fuse box and pull it apart from the orange plug on the firewall to get behind the box. The clips have a small ear that locks the clip to the box. Release the clip and swap the clips. While you have the box out...might as well relocate it to easy serviceability.
