64 1/2-70 mustang gt40p headers

    there a lot of JBA headers on ebay listed for the early mustangs for the gt40p heads does anyone know if they would possibly work on our cars,if anyone has tried please chime in im interested in knowing thanks

    Don't know about the ebay headers but I ran my P heads for years using my old Blackjack headers with short plugs and terminals. Unless you already own the heads, though, they can be a PITA come plug changing time, but a set of platinum plugs can last years . Mustangs have a good bit more room in the engine compartment than our cars.

    P heads have the spark plugs almost directly under the header tube on the driver's side. Stock manifolds often work ok but that kinda defeats the purpose of going to a better head.

    I remember reading his struggles, kept me from buying a set as well.
