Long story short heres the important stuff

    750 aed on a 347 stroker
    Twisted wedge heads
    Fresh from the machibe shop
Timing set by vac gauge for best vac and dialed back about 2 degrees
Prior to rebuild carb was on same engine and dyno tuned.

Always had a slight break up at 1/4 throttle
Seems worse now that the engine is fresh
15hg vac at 750 rpm idle
Originally had a 4.5 pv and worked up to a 7.5......bigger i went the worse its been. Especially the 7.5

Float heights are correct....runs good except for this

The stumble is at any speed or rpm and its constant.....wont stop until i add or take away throttle input.

    Help is very much appreciated.

hey bud.. always something needing to be changed or tuned, eh? did you try to get ahold of me earlier today? missed the call and the number looked familiar. Call me tomorrow at work and I will try and help you get squared away. Depending on how busy.. may need to get back to you shortly after you call.

First things to look at are front transition slot exposure.. sometimes you need more than typically rec'd. quick and dirty trick is to just try to run a very high idle speed(don't forget to reset the mixture screws) and see what happens. Then check primary pump shot for aeration/shot break up from bad diaphragm. Also check the disty weights to be sure everything looks good with the springs-n-things in there too. Surely sounds like fueling issue to me though.

    Yeah lol that was me.
I need to go to the parts store in the morning and pick up a set of springs for my pro billet.....looked under the cap today and it has the thickest springs in it right now. Gonna change that to a light and medium and see if it improves. If that doesn't change anything I'll take a look at the transition slot exposure....hate messing with it since you have to pull the carb every freaking time.... ( thanks holley)
