I have a '74 big bumper Maverick I just bought '73 front bumpers with the valence I'm gonna cut the brackets to bring the bumpers in to the car. Should I leave the rear bumper or change it to a smaller one I've even looked into trimming the rear bumper after I brought it in has anyone done this? _20151213_181017.JPG

I tucked the front bumper on my '74. I put a '73 bumper on the rear. If I had a '73 front, I probably would have gone that route also. Maverick, Fall 2013 015.jpg Maverick, Fall 2013 017.jpg Maverick, Fall 2013 020.jpg

If I recall correctly, 73's had a nice rear bumper but a large front bumper.

Not true but close, the 73 front bumper is a one year only and is mid- sized at close to 4" high +/-. Back bumper is early style only pushed out from the body 1 1/2" or so with quarter extensions to fill the gap. I heard 70 mustang bracket are close to the small bumper Mav/Com rear brackets.

I just swapped my 73 front to skinny. Have a whole front 73 assembly in the garage. My 73 has a small rear bumper, the short mounts bring it in about an inch. Need the lower extensions.

I like how the stripes go JUST over the side of the ridge on the hood and cut out for the scoop then continue on top very unique looks really good sorry to be off topic.
if anyone is looking for a really nice rear bumper I have two 73 bumpers and atleast one small bumper with brackets
