New (to me) 1970 Maverick...where to start

    Hi all,
    I just bought myself a 1970 Maverick. As expected there are plenty of issues with it. I bought it at a pretty good price. It has a 200 I6 that is having firing issues. Compression is good in all cylinders. I am expecting an issue in distributor, plugs, etc. I will be looking into that first. The interior is beat up. The headliner and seats are all ripped up. I am going to just pin up the headliner for now. I am looking for some bucket racing seats to put in and possible just delete the rear bench seat.
    The body is in decent shape. A little rust on the rear quarters by the wheels. Besides that just minor surface rust. I will be attacking that soon as well. I am going to go with an all black look. I am thinking gloss black with minor accents of matte black on some body lines.
    Eventually I am hoping to swap in a 351W I have sitting back home. I am a student at USU and home is back in Wisconsin.
