    :Welcome:...:Handshake:

have it rebuilt or rebuild it yourself...I don't suggest buying one already rebuilt. if you buy one, keep the old one.

I had a similar problem with a single barrel carb on a 200 ci. the needle would not set properly due to rust flakes from the gas tank. I always carried around some carb cleaner and when this would happen i would pop off the top of the carb and clean it up real quick. It was a quick fix until i had my tank rebuilt at a radiator shop. Also be sure to keep your fuel filter clean. Replace often

also it could be leaking gase out of the inlet (where the fuel line screws into the carb). if thats the case just use some sealing plumbers tape and see if you can fix the leak

is it a continuous stream of gas or does it come out more when you let up off the gas or on?

freeze plugs ...do a motor flush then knock out all the old plugs and replace with new ones. there are plugs in the head and back of the block also that need to be replaced. the ones in the back you will have to pull transmission to get to. then put in new antifreeze at the correct ratio.
when I bought my Mav it was being sold for scrap because of a leaking freeze plug in the 250 head...they thought it was a cracked block...:yup:
