Just a heads up on this window felt. I ordered mine last year. I finally opened the package and one side is somewhat like the original and the other side is a felt tube. The metal tabs are cheap and press against the glass too hard. Just rolling the window up pulled the metal tab from the weatherstrip. Buyer beware.

I have these on my car. While I agree the metal tabs could be better, I have no other issues with these.

Hopefully I just had a bad set but mine were pretty bad, some tabs were offset and didn't line up well with the slots in the door as well.

I noticed that as well. I may have moved some of the clips over. I might have even used some original clips. Been too long ago...I don't remember. But I don't remember them being terrible or unusable.

did you get them from melvins? try calling them even if it is a year later you just opened them they MIGHT do something for you? Im sure they understand buying parts when you have the money then installing the parts later.
maybe they can just send you better or newer clips?

its worth a shot. the worst they can say is NO
