Could anyone tell me the length of the aluminum spacers on the bolts holding the alternator and the power steering pump on? This is a non-AC car. 1973 model with a 302 engine. Thanks anyone for your help.

I think the spacer behind the alternator is 1 5/8" (8A652) and behind P/S pump bracket is 1/2" (3D600), do you recall if you had an aluminum bracket (D1OE-10A336-AB) mounted on RH (Passenger side) head??

    Melvin's has both spacers:
    B13195 P/S Bracket Spacer pg. 63 for $6.50
    D0OE-10A370-B Alternator Spacer pg. 42 for $11.25

I do have the aluminum bracket mounted on the head for the alternator bolt. I also have an assortment of aluminum spacers collected over the years. I can cut one to size if needed, however, I just wanted to see what size the original spacers were. Thank you for the information David. I really appreciate it.

Hey, no problem and glad to help, just have to make sure you get correct lengths for your pulleys to all line up.
    Good luck!

I dunno if there is a difference in '72 & '73 but thickness of my A/C bracket is ¾" where P/S sets... I also measured my spacer(a stack of washers) and came up with ¾"... One of these days I'm going to reinstall the A/C...
