250 Six 3spd to T5 - Driveshaft?

Planning on swapping in a T5 for the 3.03 - 3spd on the column on my 74 Mav'.

Anyone done this T5 swap and able to tell if 3 spd Driveshaft fit or needed to be made longer or shorter for the T5 conversion.

I didn't have to cut mine when I swapped my C4 to a t5 in my '74.

 

I did the same swap 3 speed to t5 and kept the original driveshaft without shortening it.

how about C4 to 3 speed, or C4 to T5
