As nice as this would be, I have zero fabrication/welding skills. The car is already torn down and really can't be towed to a fabrication shop for the work not could I imagine what they would charge!

Thanks MucH for all the info. Yeah 500# is definitely on the stiff side probably a tad more than the kw's.

This was actually the first thing I saw and did seriously consider getting it but had heard the quality of the parts were not the best compared to even moog replacement parts. And now that I've taken the time to tear evdrythi gout I think I'm going to make the investment to do what I can to improve the front end without major modification.

You should call Laurel Mountain Mustang and raise this point of their system vs MOOG. The system I received has all US made parts and the quality and fit was perfect. Consider other opinions. I would dig deeper into the "poor quality" comment to see precisely how they came to this conclusion. Good luck.

I think the price you had listed for the SPC upper control arms are for one. The pair is listed on ebay for $400. Mention that to Summit and they will match it.

Yeah I did get the SPC Upper arm pricing wrong. Wish I could go back and edit it but it won't let me.
That's really cool info about summit price matching ebay, didn't know that!

Well i've been talking with John over at Opentracker talking about options for the front suspension.

I feel like i've narrowed it down a bit, but here is what i'm thinking:

Opentracker Street Perf upper control arm w/zerk fittings - $225
Opentracker Street Perf lower control arm w/bearings instead of bushings - $260
Opentracker Roller Spring Perches - $200
    Opentracker 1965 Mustang lowering springs - $80
Opentracker Poly spring isolator - $22
    Opentracker Steering Kit $230
    Opentracker front Sway bar $175
Stock Shocks - $0 (The ones I have look pretty new)
Pacific Thunder Adjustable Strut rod $270
    = $1460
This seems to be a good balance of replacing everything and really updating the weak areas.

Opentracker Street Perf upper control arm w/zerk fittings - $225
Opentracker Street Perf lower control arm w/bearings instead of bushings - $260
    Opentracker Steering Kit $230
    Opentracker front Sway bar $175
Pacific Thunder Adjustable Strut rod $270
TCP upper control arm coilover kit $830
    =$1990
This also is a little more modern, gives some more options for controlling ride height.

Hmm, i'll have to sleep on it and really decide which direction to go.

If spending that amount of coin, I think it would be a major mistake not to spend the extra $175 bucks to use the SPC upper arms to improve the geometry issues we have to work with here.
