What is the color combo for the radio 12v pw. wire? I don't see any info on the schematic I have or on any on this forum.
It's also connects to, and powers the Back-Up lights (via the back-up light switch). See attached diagram. Sorry, but I don't remember the color. There should be a wire hanging around where the radio is located.
Thanks for the reply. I guess I will just have to pull out my circuit tester and probe for it. I have changed/added some wiring under dash and looking for easy way to detect that wire. I might have it labeled. Need a switched wire under the dash w/o going to fuse box.
On a 70 it seems to be a yellow with a black tracer. On a 71 it's a white and pink. That's according to my schematics.
From early/mid '60s should be yellow/black on any year or model Ford/Mercury... It will be in a double connector that also supplies power for radio lighting... Second wire is blue with red tracer...
