Some of you may have noticed an increase in spam lately. They are easy to spot. I want to thank everyone that is reporting them, and remind everyone to never click on links or even respond to their posts - just hit the report button and it will get flagged for Stefan and me to fix. The most recent spam came from Pakistan - who knows what their motive is but it can't be any good. Country: Pakistan State/Region: Punjab City: Faisalabad

Thanks to all the guys reporting the spammers - seems to be everyday now and mostly comes in the wee hours of morning. We are working on some blocks at this end, but for now, just keep reporting them when you see them and do not click on any links or reply to the post. They are all coming out of the middle east - bad juju for sure .............
i see them rather often, must be my time zone helping that. could you shorten the time span you have to wait between two reports?
I have reduced the time required to wait between two reports. Would like to have lowered it even more but that setting is used by other forum flood control functions.

There has been a lot of spam on here lately. I usually see it really late at night and I just report it. Just for other people to remember if you see spam, never click on any of their links. P.s. I just reported a spam thread right before I wrote this post.
