[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I picked up a 70 2 door today, its not bad shape but its needs work. This time I'm thinking more street/strip than strip like my other one but plan on doing a few normal changes. Swapping out I6 for a V8, front disc and everything that goes with that, 9 inch rear with 370's and of course paint the car. The guy that sold me the car was even good enough to drop the car off in my driveway :) I feel I kinda stole the car because I only gave $1,850 for it.

    yep.. well done!

Just remember that something's only worth what someone will actually pay for it.. so if he was happy and you are happy?.. it was a good deal for all involved. Finish it off with a handshake and all is well.

It was but, the man had been out of work for a while and was asking much more for the car. He was happy to have the money and I was happy to get the car, we shook hands and you are right so I guess I shouldn't feel like I got the better end of the deal.

if everyone started with a solid base like that there would be alot more "finished" cars on here or maybe not because they would be out driving there cars insteasd of posting what repairs they have or need to do lol

    good score
