I met a Cadillac in a sharp curve, it was about half on the shoulder when it passed me. found out later that when it came back on it hit the car that was 4-5 seconds behind me head on...
in my rear view I saw her coming back on the road as she went around the curve. when I got about 2 miles down the road I met the rescue truck going that way. I stopped at Harold's shop and he said it was heading to a wreck just below my house. I was thinking then that I was just by there. road was close for about an hour, the car that was hit was upside down in the road.

oh yuck.. glad you're OK, Frank. I would think the other car was much better equipped to handle an impact compared to these old cars but sure hope nobody was seriously hurt in the accident.

Glad you are OK. Sounds like one of those moments you will remember at times that you are counting your blessings. I have a few of those..... near misses where you know they would have gone very badly otherwise.
