Interior voltage problem

    Ok so I drove my car for first time since I rebuilt the front suspension and am having an issue with my interior lights, my lights will flicker on and off and I can watch the voltage gauge in the car go from 14 to 0 back and forth, only does this with my headlight switch pulled out in both positions, I can here a ticking noise coming from in the dash when it does it, I believe it's the flashers

    Any ideas

    Ps I just replaced my starter solenoid yesterday because it was keeping the starter engaged

    Just checked my voltage gauge inside the car while running with lights off and it's at 13 volts

    If headlights are OK, you probably have a short in the exterior wiring, park, side marker, tail lamps etc... The clicking is the circuit breaker in headlight switch cycling... A short in dash would blow fuse to cluster...

    If your headlights also cycle on and off, it is possible that your voltage regulator is allowing the system to overcharge. You might want to get that checked first. Most auto parts stores offer this as a free service.
