Leaking Glass(need a new fuel sending unit?)

    Well another thing to add to my list! trying to fix the great fuel leak or find what part i need(get my first paycheck from my new higher paying job tomorrow ) before i order parts tomorrow night

    the picture with the red circle is exactly where the leak is coming from


    Any help on what needs to be done would be great!

    I am not 100%, but looks like you need a sending unit and o-ring. Is it leaking where the plug attaches?

    Does your gas gauge work ? If it does and the leak is from where the circle is try to get tank empty enough that it is not leaking and you can clean that area and put some JB weld there and let cure a day. Then you can get a new sending unit

    my gauge doesn't work right now. we drained the fuel tank for now and im going to order this part tomorrow when i get paid https://www.autokrafters.com/p-21783-fuel-sender-76-77-maverick-comet.aspx this isn't my daily driver right now so i think i can skip the JB weld

    Yeah thats what im thinking :/

    My cousin (has two old mustangs he rebuilt) says i should just make a new connecter
