I can think of at least 2 Maverick builds going on right now (actually more than that) that are worthy of getting a magazine article done about their build does anybody have any insight or connections on getting a car in a mag. Perhaps if a group of people all sent in a request to have a car featured someone would listen

Seems like they lead you to believe they stumble onto the average joe builds at events. The rest are high dollar builds at Ring Bros, Rad Rides etc...

I have to agree, there are some fine builds that deserve some limelight. CruisinIllusion, Carnut, Franktf all have damn nice cars. My only hope will be readers rides!

You hit the nail on the head. Their are many others that have their cars built already that deserve honors as well. I bet we could do a mag just of Maverick and Comet builds.

Did you have the opportunity to talk with the gentleman that bought the Ohio George Maverick?

Why not! They have dedicated magazines for Mustangs and F body's.

Hey Mike! Long time Bud. I agree with the magazine on the Maverick build. I have seen a lot of beautiful cars on this site and others as well. I have a ton of pictures of my 10 years rotisserie build as well.

Hey your still kicking, great to see and hear from you again you havent posted a great deal on here but then you were too busy building your car. This is just what I am talking about another great build that is note worthy. Ten years is a long time but not near the record but when you spend that kind of time on a project it would sure be nice to get some kind of recognition besides self gratification. But alas they are just Mavericks and Comets and I guess if you want your car show cased then you can at least submit it and pics to the garage showcase feature on this site.

Now I want to know why you did not bring the car to Lima when we were there I know the weather was iffy and I dont think if I had a car of that caliber I would have wanted it in the rain or at least driven in the rain, you can alaways clean the top side it just underneath that you hate to get all grimy.

BTW love the white lets see some pics of interior and motor

I have had 3 of my cars in magazines and one of them on "My Classic Car" with Dennis Gage. Each time, I was at the Silver Springs car show in Fl. One of the times was featuring the Sprints, and my Mustang and Pinto, along with Dennis's Maverick, got a 6 page spread in Legendary Ford magazine. Sometimes you have to be at the right place and the right time. Get them out to events where they can be seen. You might get lucky.
