This is how my 72 200ci Maverick project is looking pre-liftshackles. We just put the shackles on in the rain and it looks great. Chopped off the exhaust and installed a cherry bomb. Sounds... amazing.

Looking to get suggestions for a 200ci dbl bl carb that would work well. Never bought a new carb, always had rebuilt, and this one is an old single. Also, suggestions for header and manifold options for more apocalyptic look?

I was thinking of cutting a hole in the hood and installing a huge breather. Anyone ever done this? And who sells good huge breathers or cheap turbochargers for a 200... orrrrr should I take a job at AutoZone and get a crate 302 for 1200$ and just start there?

Just buy an explorer motor 96-97. They work great!

What do you mean? There is one in my friends car and going to be putting one in my car soon. They come with gt40 heads and are full roller motors. You can usually get a low mileage car for around 800 dollars.

Hope those are not bullit holes! So dark ,so gothic wow! Put a Holly 1904 on that baby ,it wont viberate apart and has plenty of Flow-CFM! The 1904 Holly made mine wake up big time. You will need the International Harvester air filter adapter. You can custome cut out the base of a stock six airfilter to complete. The throttle cable will be tricky!

I am not sure if a hole in the hood with huge breather and rain would go together well.
