Backglass question

I am looking for a nice backglass and need to know if they are the same from 2 to 4 door. Thanks

Ouch...that's a crazy price for a rear glass.

No the 2 door and 4 door are totally different, I have a tinted backglass I will look at it and see if it is still in good condition but packing and shipping is a totally different story. Most a/c cars have tinted windows

 

That's interesting, I have two AC cars and neither have tinted windows. Also only the front glass is interchangeable.

 

The tint is not real noticeable but if you hold up a white sheet of paper behind them it will be a greenish color. It was installed to aid in keeping inside temps down I would guess. I cant say that all a/c cars had it but the ones I have parted have. Maybe Craig or someone has some more input on it

 

I have seen sets of tinted glass and these cars definitely don't have it. I always though it was an add on option.

 

I know I have seen Marti reports and tinted glass was listed as an option but the cars had a/c which is an option also so who knows, nothing surprises me anymore with how and what you get on these cars. The fact that you have 2 cars with a/c and no tint tells me I am was not correct about a/c cars having tint.

I do know that I have parted non a/c cars that have had tint but very few, I keep all the glass just because you never know when you might need it or someone else

 

That was the case with Mustangs, factory AC cars had tinted glass.

 

Tinted glass was still an option, even on AC cars.
