$500 is not a bad price for a parts car. That is pretty much the going rate I will pay for one.

it used to irritate me when people would bug me about my mav, but now i love it. our cars ARE becomeing very popular. teens seem to love it as much as the older folks. mustangs are old news, camaros are always the same look. mavericks are the hidden hotrod that people never realized because only old people used to drive them lol.

I agree. I can't go anywhere without attracting attention. I came out of a restaurant recently and found a family looking at my car. A kid about 12 was taking a picture. I asked him if he liked my car, his reply was that he LOVED Mavericks.

I was at Hot August Nights this year. Summit Racing picked my car out of the 100's that was there to be one of the six winners that day. They said that one of the reasons they picked my car was because I was the only Maverick in the show and they loved it. I was runner up for the final day's award. Got $100 out of it. The competition was amazing.

I hope the enthusiasm will equate to $$ and a nice, "I told you so :yuck:" for those of us who have had these cars for years and sometimes decades.
