So ive noticed around the internet that people have the same car as me (71 comet inline 250) STOCK but some things arn't the same in the engine. Such as carburators/air filters/pcv,vacume locations. Could this be because im in California or because not all of them are the same? 20161213_075348.jpg 20161213_075526.jpg

I have never seen the PCV line split. Where does the other end connect to?

3 port Ported Vacuum Switch (Distributor Vacuum Control Valve) for emission control, top to carburetor, middle to distributor and bottom to intake manifold, is what that assembly is on top of Thermo housing is called.

    - EGR/CSC switches EGR vacuum from EGR system to distributor advance with cold engine.
    - Cold Start Spark Advance (CSSA) supplies manifold vacuum to distributor below 125 deg. coolant temp.
    - Coolant Spark Control (CSC) cuts off distributor advance below hot engine temp.
    - Cooling PVS switches advance vacuum from spark port to manifold vacuum if engine overheats.

I, sure someone else will mention it, but I don't think the brake booster vacuum should be hooked to the PCV. It should be hooked directly to the manifold vacuum source. - Matt
