Hello, I am the new kid on the block. I live in Hawaii so you know Maverick's is as rare as you will find anything here . I have not seen any Maverick's at all here except for a 4 Door Junky. Finding parts is making a wish list, I probaly won't come unless you pay dearly for shipping. I like the site and have found some good ideas as to what to do to my maverick.. I own a 1970 and I am the 2nd owner. So far only modification is droped in a 347 Ford & 411's. But you know the cost $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $
Sounds like an awesome ride. Post some pictures, we love pictures. Welcome to the board, lots of great people here.....
Funny me and Sam were talking about the fact we did not have anybody from the aloha state. and oh yea ALOHA!
Is that just too creepy or what, Lance? Just the other night we had this discussion about Mavs in Hawaii and today I see this post. I better check my phone for bugs.... Anyway, welcome to the board Bradley! Sam

Welcome to the board. Good to have you here. At least the chances of your Maverick rusting away from road salt are pretty much non existant. Now I wonder if there is anyone here from Alaska.
Surviving Hawaii Maverick Hello everyone & thank you for the warm Aloha. I live on the biggest island in Hawaii called Hawaii. I live in the City HILO. I have like a mentioned a 1970 Maverick with its original paint job. I am the 2nd owner of the car and she had very low milage for her age. When I get a digital camera or a scanner from a friend I will ost what she looks like. As I mentioned I have beat just about every bush in Hawaii looking for parts that I need. Made me kind of laugh when I one stopped at a junk yard and asked if they had any gas tank for a maverick & the guy had no idea it was a car . Bet if I asked about a Honda he would have known, but sorry no 4 bangers in my garage.:bananaman . As I said a wish list here is just that a wish list. Any help would be greatly appreciated: Chrome moldings to go around windows, this one came with none. interior dome light Front & rear bumpers because of the dings. interior arm rests & handles A N S E N W H E E L S and if anyone knows whats the biggest I can stick under her without her tail stick in the air. the list goes on but you know how it goes. If any one needs a 1970 grill I have one in great hape except for the the center piece which shows some wear. Until I hear from my Maverick's again........ALOHA from Hawaii
