I'v done a search & think I'm ever more confused. I thought the big bumper mavericks used 5 pcs & small bumper mavericks used 3 pcs, but if I'm reading correctly they all require 5 psc. I have a 5 psc that I removed from my 76 parts maverick so just to clarify does all 5 psc install on my 71 maverick?

Here a a pic of the Pcs I'm talking about.

There's no such thing as a "5-piece" Maverick spoiler. All Maverick Grabber spoilers are three pieces. The trunk lid piece, and the two quarter extension pieces. Of course you'd need the mounting hardware. Big-bumper Mavericks never had spoilers.

The other 2 psc are the little extensions that go below the quarter panel extensions, your parts car will not have them because after 73 they did not have them and a 73 is different that a 69 1/2 to 72.

If I were to guess, these are part of the quarter extensions that were cut down. I think there is something a little weird going on there.

here are the 5 pieces I refer to...these are to put a Grabber spoiler on a 74-77.
the other pieces you need are the weld in trunk floor mounts and a small rear bumper with 69-72 mounting brackets.

Where were they mounted on the car in relation to the bumper? Were these mounted with the spoiler end caps? Pretty sure what you pictured would be the lower part of an extension, like this one but cut where the black line is.
