Well, the old man is all for his bowtie.....yet I find him staring at the Maverick more than his Vette:)

IMO the 63-67 are the only ones worth looking at. I'd buy one of those in a second if I could afford one. Of course, I then put a Ford drive train in it.

He's not gonna part with that until I inherit it.....I know its mean, but its true.

Its only a 1980 L48, but it was a one onwer car and only has 47k original miles on it. Everything works on the car down to the factory alarm.

Its fun, but I enjoy being in the Mav more:)

My mom had a 77' Vette. After selling it more then 18 years ago, we were at a car show in 2001 with my dad's Comet when a black 77' Vette rolled in. Low and behold, it was my moms car. Some guy bought it wrecked at a swap meet and did a ground up resto on it, it looks showroom now.

    It's pretty cool... For a Cheby... ;)

Uhh, I'd bet that Corvette will always be worth more than several Mavericks
or Comets. The main reason that our cars are seeing such appreciation is
because everything else is skyrocketing. Unless they come out with a movie
about a Grabber with a body kit jumping cars and running from the comps.
    Maybe call her Eloise?

Don't need a movie ... Just need a couple of big name hot rod magazines give a thumbs up to a Maverick and do some builds and we'll be OK ...

I would be willing to sacrafice my Maverick to Overhaul'n and allow Chip Foose to redo my Maverick if that's what it takes!

    I'm such a team player:)

Vettes,,,love um till the 67's. Like Mavaholic, I would love to own one but finances wont allow. I would put a wankel motor in one if I had the chance and some little Ford dog dish hubcaps. Then I would paint it grabber blue and attach some Pinto emblems, then drive past all of you and snub each and every one of you. and my new name on here would be Ima Dick!
    Sincerely
    Dan
