Hey guys, Im looking to buy weather stripping for my mav. Just the doors and roof rails need to be replaced. I have read a Bunch on this site about weather stripping. I know Melvin sells it and I have looked on the site and what I want comes to a grand total of 200 bucks. So I decided to look around and see what I can find.
I found a kit on Ebay for 300 bucks that has doors, roof rail, trunk and window seal. Im going to have to take out my dash one day so might as well get another windshield. So that kit would be a bigger bang for my buck. Also never a bad idea to have spares. My question is have any of you guys had experience with this stuff. Have yall heard about this kit? Is it good? Here is the link to the kit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Maverick-2-...ash=item43ff1365cd:g:55sAAOxyaTxRJnxb&vxp=mtr

Interesting. The company is listed as NewEngland Mustang but there is a link to Pony Parts Plus. The Pony Parts Plus has website that has several Maverick components, but neither website states the manufacturer of the kit.

Dennis Carpenter produces the weatherstripping that all the vendors sell.

Thanks for the input rotorr22 but if you had read my question I was asking about a specific kit. I cant find anything about this kit on here. I have gotten other links to other ebay weather stripping that is supposed to be good But they have expired. All the threads on here about weather stripping is about a year old so I do not believe this kit was covered.

Weatehrstripping: The "kit" is all there is. It is that, or nothing. It is all made by the same company, so shop for weatehrstripping by price.

    I read your post, Benjamin3537.

As Craig points out, the repop weatherstrips are made by the same company and distributed by multiple sources under various names. They are not an equal to the OEM seals and the design departs from the OEM seals in several respects however, as Craig appropriately points out, they are all we have. The NOS seals are about gone.
