I was just wondering if any body has tried a 347 with 205 AFR heads.
My Cam is a .600 lift with 254 duration at .050" 294 advertised solid Roller
    How are your results.

I had a 331 with AFR 205s, with the same cam, Unported Vic Jr, 1-5/8 headers, 10.4 CR... made 391 RWHP
Google Elvira 331 if you want to see potent build with 205's. Also Quarterhorse II has a 331 with 205's and he made 515 hp at crank, runs 9.80 at 138 in a 2400# mustang

    Ok thanks
I was running a set of World Windsor's out of the box, I was never real pleased with them, Good to hear of good performance with the 205 AFR heads!

They are one of the better all around heads. The TW 11R 205's aren't too shabby either but they're not quite a "bolt on". I chose 205's for my 427". Everyone said they're too "small" but for what I'm doing, they'll fit the bill nicely. Still sitting on an engine stand, though, so no dyno numbers yet. Expecting roughly 600hp at the crank.

That said, there is a trend toward big heads. I don't know why, not when a lowly 205cc set can support 600+ with the right other supporting mods and the right camshaft. I do know of some Mustang'ers who have made over 1000 with 205's and a hair dryer or two.
