I started up my 351 on sunday and my belt came off, so i looked and my pulley setup was wrong. So does anybody have any pics of the pulleys for a 351. I just have the alt, waterpump and crank. the pulley's i used were off my 302. Somebody please help.

What do you mean by "wrong"? The 302 pulleys should work.

shouldn't have said wrong, i meant the pulleys dont align properly. The alt, water pump and crank are all dbl groove pulleys. The alt lines up with water pump on the back groove of the alt and the front groove of the wp. The wp lines up with the crank on the back groove of the water pump and the front groove of the crank. If there was a third groove on the crank pulley then it would all line up.:banghead: If the belt is put on the back groove of the alt then the belt hits the top bracket of the alt. I hope that clarifies my predicament.

sounds like you have a set of pulleys for power steering. Need a shallow water pump pulley.

It gets confusing because over the years Ford has used 5 different lengths of dampers. Sometimes you have to shim things to get them to line up. On my last 302 I had 1/2" spacers under the alternator brackets and a 1" spacer between the water pump and fan pulley.
