    Hey all,

The dash gauges core is turning to dust, so I’m wanting to wire the circuits separately. Does anybody have a picture or PDF of the 14 “pin” functions? 3 or 4 are ground and with patience I can figure them out, just looking for a quicker route.

I believe I will try to “make” a core to hold the gauges and new lights so I can maintain the factory look.

Tim - I will send a picture of my leftovers when wrapping up to see if there is anything you are interested in. The most needed part is obviously useless.

    Ok,

A quick search provided most of what I need. A little more investigation with the VOM and I will know just what I have.

    Good morning all,

Does this diagram appear to be labelled correctly? We are wanting to ditch the old circuit board and would like accurate definitions for the wiring harness connector.

I would think that would not be correct for all years.

    Hey Craig,

Thanks for the door handle parts, the handle is working great. I was looking at the info sent with the parts the other day, my son and I would love to join the club and hopefully make a round-up in the future. Finally got plates for the car yesterday, so it will be getting some use while we continue to rejuvenate.

As labelled, the cluster diagram is for 1976 and 1977 Mavericks and Comets. We have a 76’.

Wish I had one for the 1970 Maverick. Got a turn signal indicator out, can't figure out why.

    Earl,

This one is oriented just as you look at the gauges, but not easy to follow. The indicator lamps share a ground, so if only one is out you know it has to be the bulb or on the power side. As brittle as the "base" is on mine, it would be easy to do more harm than good checking it out. I am looking forward to having everything wired LED, but need to fab a new "base".

Thank you so much for the diagram. I can remove the cluster, as it is in really good shape, not powdered, and troubleshoot it. This will be a big help. Thanks again!
