    HEY GUYS I WAS WONDERING WHAT SHIFTER i should get a b & m megashifter or a hurst v-matic 2 shifter what r the pros and cons of both of them thanx 4 ur help.

    i've got a b&m megashifter. i've never had a problem, but i've had others say they don't like them. go somewhere, if you can,:) and try them both. see what feels better to you if you can.

    1977 2 dr. 466 BBFord, C6 auto, 8 inch rear.
    I had a v matic 2, liked it a lot. A little complicated at first, but easily figured out, kind of a pain to adjust also. Ratchets forward and reverse, as does the megashifter I believe. I run a B&M starshifter cuz it was cheap and I don't need a reverse pattern shifter. I love it.

    i also have the b&m starshifter......it runs about 120 bucks and comes with everything....you can usually get it installed in like 4 hours.... with minimul headache

    it shifts good

    I use B&M Z Gate And B&M Pro Ratchet...I like them both....Jim(y) :clap:

    I kinda like the stock maverick/comet/pinto/mustang shifters myself.But if you like messing with cables & stuff the B&M quarterstick is a good one.
