I received a phone call last week from a local guy looking for a Maverick and he asked me if I was willing to sell mine. The thought of selling the car had crossed my mind in the past, as I have not driven the car in the past 2 years. So I told him that I was willing to sell the car and he came to take a look at it. After looking over the car, he was impressed with its condition and left a deposit for it. Today, he gave me the balance and towed the car home. The new owner loves Mavericks, so I know that the car is in good hands. Ive been "Maverickless" in the past, and I know that its not easy to find a nice one, but I will get another one in the future. When I was looking for a replacement for my first Maverick, all I wanted was a rust free 2 door body and did not care about the year. I ended up buying a 1974 6 cylinder Maverick. My plans for the car were to swap in a 302 with a manual transmission and change the bumpers to small ones, but since im not mechanically inclined, it never happened. Therefore, my next Maverick I buy will have to have all the features I want and it will be a 71/72 Grabber. Nothing will change in regards to maverick.to or this forum and I will continue to improve it over time. I am still a Maverick enthusiast and will be forever
