Brake light and turn signal are not functioning on the driver side. I tried a fresh bulb and same deal. The turn signal on the dash stays solid but the tail light goes out. All other lights are on when the headlight switch is pulled all the way. When I put power to the brown wire at the light socket, the bulb lights up. But, I am getting full power at both of the terminals on the brake light switch with the pedal pressed down.
I am actually having a very very similar issue on my International truck!

If you have power on both brake light switch contacts, problem is likely in the signal switch. Couple wires on the cam commonly break but one kills brake lights & other the signals.

I sure hope not it's brand new so I'll be pissed off. The turn signal lever feels very tight and makes a solid click up and down. Why the hell would my passenger side be just fine

There are separate contacts for R&L brake lights, one has no effect on other.

Brake switch feeds thru green wire on right, then into switch & out on the two center connections LG/O for left.

Lt Green/White is LF & White/Lt blue is RF signals

Using a test light on each, should burn/blink. If switch is problem LG/O should be dead.
