Well, I've got 4days off for spring break and I'm on a mad blitz to get as much done. I've got the dash in the car and need help with the wiper switch and light switch. Is there anything behind the dash but in front of the light switch? Do the wires run under or over the ac/heat controls?

Heres my # it might be easier to call me 817-645-3599

Thanks, do you know if there is anything that goes infront of the light switch but behind the dash to hold it?

OK - the wires all run under the controls, along that channel that is made by the bottom lip of the dash face. Are you wondering about how the switches themselves are held into the dash? There is a "secret" button on the side of the headlight switch. If you push that in you can pull the whole knob and shaft right out with easy. Then you just need a big fat screwdriver to loosen the face bezel and the switch comes right out. For the wiper switch, the knob pulls off and you can unscrew the nut and bezel. IF YOU have A/C, my manual says the instrument cluster needs to come out for room to work. I do not have A/C cars, so I don't know if there is any difference do to the vacuum lines.

    Hope this helps,
    Eric J

Hmm, here is a pic. I'm wondering if anything goes where the white box is, inbetween the switch and the dash

I looked again, the only thing there is the switch and the switch bracket (bracket is part if the switch, that's what the bezel screws into). My cars are not A/C cars, don't know if that makes a difference. What is it that makes you think something is missing?

The angle of the dash and the switch not mounting flush makes me think that. I guess not though. Thanks Eric, I appreciate the help
