how many people on here were not born util after ford stoped making the maverick

    I had no idea there were so many young people on here! I'm April 6, 1986. At least its the same month that the mavericks were introduced lol

    Well, MY Maverick is older then me, which I think is pretty cool... It's a 71 and I was born in 1973, sooo, I guess i am not thaaaattt old...lol:)

    my 71 maverick is about 6 months older than me......i prefer cars that are older than me....makes me feel like i have brought an old car back to life.....and it helps me have a little more life as well

    I was born BEFORE the first Corvette was manufactured, WAY BEFORE the first Mav.

    First car I remember riding in? 1947 Ford Deluxe...

    I came here on Nov. 3rd 1966, My Maverick has a delivery date of Nov. 6th 1969 on the sheet, and I got to looking at the title when I bought it and the owner before me titled it on Nov. 3rd of 2000, so I feel I was meant to have this car..........for some strange reason, maybe to make me mad sometimes. :mad:

    It's ok Ghost, my grandpa was born in 1935 which is not only WAY before a Maverick, but WAY before the Corvette also. ;)

    Just think, one day many many years from now alot of you guys will be able to tell kids "I was born before the first Honda Civic, rice was still something you eat back then!" The kids will look at you like woooooow.... :biglaugh:

    1974, I guess that would be near the middle of production, the kids tell me I'm old but then I point at my wife and tell them she's older(she is), she doesn't find it as funny as I or the kids do.:rofl:

    I was born on August 19th, 1987 . The first car I can remember riding in was a 1972 dart with a 318 , I can still hear them glasspacks , I sure wish my mother still had that car :cry: . I didn`t know what a ford maverick was untill I was 12 when my mother got a blue 1976 4 door maverick with a 250 and C4 (y) .
