Hello all. First, I just wanted to let you all know that I've been gleaning information from this site for a long time just as a visitor. I enjoy the lite attitude and all the helpful information. So thank you all. I'm not a very chatty person so until now I had no reason to join. Now for the sad part (why I had to join). I waited a long time to purchase my '73 Maverick looking for the perfect project. I found it last October. A 2 door, 250 I6, Straight bodied dream with only 69000 miles on it. This car is wonderful. My family has grown by one which means we have outgrown the Maverick. (not to bad getting my 6 yr old daughter who loves the car in and out but a baby is a different story) The wife wants an SUV so I HAVE TO SELL MY BABY!!! It really sucks but that's why I joined because I want the car to go to someone that's going to do something great with it and treat it well. I've looked at your cars and read your posts and I know that any one of you guys would treat this car the way it should be treated. Now that I'm done here I'm headed over to post the car. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to add pictures. Thank you all again for your knowledge and wisdom. Hopefully you guys will let a non owner stay as a member until I can afford to have a new project I'm fairly sure I'll never find another one like this one though.
