I want to take them off to put some fresh paint on. Can I just remove them, or do I have to do anything special so I dont do any damage.

    Thanks!

My dad had the ones on his Comet zinc plated years ago, and not long after he switched to some custom made ones and put the zinc plated ones up somewhere. He's trying to dig them out so we can put them in the Grabber. I'll get some pic's if he can find them.

Thanks guys....for now I'm gonna paint mine, but I'm gonna look to pick up a set I can bring to the chromer....I already have an extra set of hood hinges ready to go!

I think I may be going too crazy with the chrome. I have the chrome valve covers, polished edelbrock intake, chrome air cleaner, alternator......

Gonna need sunglasses when I open the hood!
