Gas tank question

    '76 Maverick Stallion '76 Maverick Metro Police K-9
    I know there are anti pollution issues possibly, but is there any significant reason that a '76-'77 tank will not work in a '74 Mav?

    I've been told as long as you get the 76' straps it works.

    It will work just fine. I have a 76-77 tank in my 74. Just make sure and buy the straps. You will also need the sending unit for it too.
