AutoKrafters sells a Universal Firewall pad for '73- '77 Mavericks. It's listed as being a " Moldable 3' by 5' pad that's 1" thick." I never used one from them, so I can't tell you how good it is or how well it fits.

When I restored my brothers 1971 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler, We couldnt find any repop insulation, so we decided as that you cant see under the carpet so we used the aluminum coated mtting from JEGS, and WOW!!! big block with flowmasters and its sooo quiet inside!! Im putting this stuff in my mav real soon! P.S. we glued the matting in place just like origional (also keeps the engine/exhaust heat out). Take your time moulding it and prefit everything and Im sure you will be satisfied..good luck, Jerry

I left the firewall padding out of my 71 Grabber ... I guess with the headers it adds a little extra rumble inside the car ...
