Rotating the shift arm??

    The FMX was a really good trans IMO// BUT WEIGH AS MUCH AS A TANK!!!!
    the body of the trans is made of "cast iron" not aluminum so the weight alone is not worth the trouble. And as these are no longer in production, they can be hard to find parts for...I used one behind a cleveland in an 82 fairmont:evilsmile
    Lots of fun till it goes bad. As for the shift lever Im not sure if it's the same as the c-4(explosive) one:huh: .You might be able to get a lever from a kit and use it (perhaps like a ratchet shifter kit or something) I think you can buy these for replacements, but dont hold me to it...     Look in cars with C6 trannys too, shift arms for the C6 and the C4 are the same, will work in either trans.
