I am not done yet, because I need to paint it, but that will happen in the summer. Here is a before, and now pic of the driver's side. If you guys are interested in the interior shot of before, and now, I will post those too. The before shot didn't look to bad, but believe me, it was not very straight. The only body parts I left the same on the car from when I got it are the body and the doors. Everything else I have changed because of choice, not rust luckily. Enjoy!

Here is the interior. The lower dash is different, the front seats are different, the carpet, headliner, dash pad, and underlayment are all new. I re dyed all the panels, and the only thing I didn't do anything to was the back seat because it was almost near perfect.

What a difference. One thing great about a tan interior is it goes good with just about any exterior color. Cant waite to see the finished product. Now, If you could just make it to the Roundup....

Thanks guys. Actually I didn't reupholster the front seats, I found a set of stock 72 LDO seats and put those in. The guy who had them before had seat covers on them all their lives, so they are nice and rip free. Now I have to figure out what to do with my old buckets. I was thinking a dark metallic green. It is from a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and is called "Everglade Green Pearlcoat." I want this color, and possibly black Grabber stripes. The black stripes would be very subtle on the dark green, but I think it would look pretty good. Yeah, I love the wheels too, lots of time in those! I bought them from a guy at the NorCal Shelby Club, and the spokes were sprayed black. So I had to strip them all by hand, and then carefully mask off the outer rims, and then paint them with a paint called "Cast Blast." It is a little darker than the Americans came originally, but I think it looks pretty good. Thanks for the comments guys, other than driving it, they make it all worth it. Now that I am almost done with it, I don't really have anything to do in my spare time. I like working on the Mav, but there is not too much more to work on. I meantioned to my parents that I think I should get a Grabber that is just outside of town. They think I am joking, but I would get it if possible. It has been sitting for a while, and probably doesn't run. It's a 71 or 72, with a 302, and C4. Here are some pics. Sorry about the low quality, but the camera I keep in the car is pretty low quality.

During the process, when I stripped off the vinyl top, this is what I found: :(

The passenger's quarter was terrible. Rust hole, and dents galore.
