Windshield Molding?

    Does anyone know where i can find aftermarket or a good used set of front and rear window glass moldings for a 71 Maverick?

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    The front moldings are the same for all Mavericks so you should be able to find a good used set from someone on this board. You can probably find rear ones too but you need to tell if it's 2 or 4 door. There is no aftermarket ones. The front ones are stainless so they are usually pretty easy to polish up if you find some dent free ones. The rears are made out of aluminum so they are a little more difficult to polish...and find nice used ones is tougher too but they are out there..

    you talking about the chrome pieces or the rubber seal moulding?

    Thanks for the quick reply! I live near the VA border in the little town of Roanoke Rapids. It's only a couple of hours from Raleigh. My father used to own a 74 2door and a 76 4door Comet. Yours looks great! I would post pics of my Mav but it is down to bare metal at the moment.

    I know of a few cars in a junkyard with trim but they are in Chatham Co.-East of
    Raleigh and south of Durham.

    If you want I can give you the guys' number. Maybe he will ship them to you.
    He did have a car with discs, so you could make a road trip if you need them.
    I'd make it soon, the snakes are growing!!
