Have a 302 in now. How would one go about installing a 351? I eventually want to upgrade and the 347 seems likely. But.....If not too much trouble, I may think 408 instead. LMK if you have installed a 351 and the process. Thanks.....Paul

There are many posts in the archives on this, is not to hard for street applications(using stock exhaust manifolds or very small tube headers). For all out performance, such as the 408, large tube headers are a must and then the shock towers normally have to be cut for clearance. The 347 is almost a bolt in, and for a easily installed hot rod engine, will surprise you. A good gear in the back along with a shift kit in the c4, will give some very good results.

the 351w goes in exactly the same as the 302. except you have to find the right headers. and you must improve your four letter vocabulary when or if you change the spark plugs. i'd stick with the 347 if it was me. the next engine i build will be a 347.:)
