I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in Posters of the maverick. Maybe a collage of different cars with some emblems Ect. The reason I ask is I work for a printing company that just installed a four color press that is capable of reproducing small quantity full color posters. The size I was thinking of to keep the cost down would be 13" x 18". We could go larger but it would be expensive and would be on an individual basis. We could design it with all of your input to make it something everyone would like. This could be framed to display at car shows or the garage wall. The price range I think would be $15.00 - $25.00 I will narrow that down after I see how much interest there is for such an item. Let me know if there is interest & how many you might want so that I can gage how many I would be running. I think the way to start would get some ideas from everyone and post a copy and then make changes from there. I have been wanting to do something like this for years, just never had the opportunity, this could be it. Let me know what you think.:2cents:

Good responce so far. I will start working on the design right away. If anyone would like to supply pictures, drawings, artwork or logo's with mavericks & Comets in mind. Please forward to keystoneaa@aol.com. I will post a sample in a few weeks for all of us to discuss & make changes or additions.

Just a note: I am NOT doing this for profit, Just for the love of the cars.

    Thanks
    Mike

I think it'd be cool to have some of the maverick/comet renderings in addition to the pics. I dunno, just an idea!! Preston

without Comet now just keeping in touch
YES YES YES, you have to have include that '74 Comet GT Grabber Blue that was in Short horns Last Printing , it has chrome slots on it.. that car is on my wall at my desk, thank God and... The powers that be.. at MCCI that they have color photo's in Shorthorns now!!

I would love that car in poster size, it is the model for how I want to do a GT clone on my '74 Comet.. big bumpers and all!!

Ok anyway.. print a nice one I will buy!!

Sounds like an interesting idea, I always like to see pics of others' rides! It'd be especially neat on a poster in a creative way!
