Being that I havent fixed my fuel gauge yet(have the part, but will need help with this one....) I was wondering how many gallons of gas the Maverick holds...I have been filling her up about every 8 gallons..Could I drive her a little farther before filling, or am I at the limit?

If I'm not mistaken I think they are tweleve gallon tanks. You could always carry a gas can with you. Is it just the sender thats bad if so they are easy to change.

O.k. thats not complicated either. All you have to do is unhook the speedo cable and wiring from the instrument cluster remove the two screws at the top and youll be there. What is the name of your car I see you called it a her.

the early tanks were 15 gallons. the later tanks varied, there were 16, 18 and 19.2 gallon tanks.
