Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I can tell what a Maverick is? I found a Maverick with cobras on the fenders and don't know how to tell if its original???? :hmmm:

No maverick ever came with Cobras on the fender. Someone put them on there. I have seen several Mavericks where guys have added the badges.

Probably not as "rare" as the Ranger I saw yesterday with the ricer ligths and the cobras on the fenders AND the tailgate AND the grill....

Or the 4 door "Lightning" that some of the builders where driving back in 2000 when then built our house...

Pa-frickin'-lese, just be what you are. If it's a Yugo, don't try to make a Corvette out of it, just be proud you're not walking... I was for years... :2cents:

I saw a black snake on one of my mavericks that sits outside. Is that now a Maverick Stallion, Blacksnake edition?

  :biglaugh: Hey, as long as there is a blacksnake guarding your Mav, the mice won't move into it. Blacksnakes are constrictors, right? How about an emblem of a blacksnake squeezeing the tar out of the Chevy Rat?
