    Hey guys and gals,

Once again, its nice to have internet access...even if its just for an hour.

    Ok, for the updates:

Finished the fender apron and battery tray...very awesome. I'll get pics
Bought new radiator and tranny cooler...looks good.
UPS delivered some Smithy glasspacks today.
    Bought some exhaust tubing...2.25"
Rewiring the engine compartment...missing some sorta switch...I'll find it.

Now, I am already blue printing another engine...300 I6...to put out alotta lotta power. I don't know why but I'm more of a fan of an I6 than I am a V8...maybe because they're different.

This is what I have going:

    Lower end:
I6 block, bored .030, magnafluxed and everything.
Forged crankshaft, forged pistons, h-beam rods, ARP bolt and stud sets. Crane Cams Roller cam with .536/.540 lift at .050 lift, 270/283 duration (advertised).

    Upper End:
Clifford Performance cylinder head, oversized valves (1.84/1.70), ported and polished with blended runners. Shaved .060. Roller rocker setup with 1.6 ratio. By the way, converting to roller lifters and connecting rods, double springs heavy duty. Dual carb intake manifold (individual runner). Regular exhaust manifold for turbo.

    Accessories:
Electronic ignition system by crane cams, no A/C, electronic fuel pump and water pump (if available). Turbo charger...no idea which one yet but need one from a similar application. Two motorcraft 2bbl carbs jetted to 400cfm.

Can't think of anything else but I estimated around 300-350 hp but massive amounts of torque. I want to tear up most V8s on the road. Oh yeah, Im buying one of those overdrive kits that turn a c4 into a 6speed auto.

Tell me what yall think...don't know when I'll get another chance to be online.

I'm confused... Are you putting the 300 in the car?

eventually. I'll keep the 200 for about 2 years or so. I know I'd need new mounts and maybe cut away on the shock towers but hey...Im a mechanic.

Have not heard of the c4 to a 6 speed upgrade. Where can I find info on this at?

I have seen these kits advertised in a few magazines. What it does is gieve you an overdrive after each gear - 1st-1stOD-2nd-2ndOD-3rd-3rdOD Never have fooled with one, but I think it'd be pretty neat.

Glad you got your radiator Jeff. Now get that exhaust done so I can quit worrying about valves.....:D Call me-just try my cell. Take it easy! Preston
