I didnt get any extended service plan when I bought my car. I do have the owners card. Not sure if we are talking about the same thing. Here is my owners card. Going by what Ron said and comparing mine to my Marti report, The 21B would be the "Scheduled to Build" date.

It was made in the St. Thomas Assembly plant.

I think the DSO means that your car was a special ordered unit....as DSO's are normally a 2 digit number. Maybe the "B" in the DSO means it was shipped to Canada. I think your DSO would actually be B1...and it was special order number 041 for that district sales office.

but if the car was built in the st thomas plant, why would it be shipped to canada when it was already here?

would the B possibly mean base? There were no options with this car I don't think...... it doesn't have the cig lighter for crying out loud........ but it did have the defroster which would be needed up here

the 5-25-78 was when the plan expired and the 25113 is when the mileage plan expired

Mine didnt have cig lighter either. Mine came with only 2 options, bumper guards and Sprint package. The dealer installed the AM radio.

I need to see if I can find the build sheet for this car...... I have had the back seat out and have looked under the front seat but ron told me it could be under the carpet...... the 24c wouldn't make sense as the dealership didn't take possession until nov 16

Here is a copy of my Warranty Card ... I was missing the original and this is the one Marti Auto reproduced for me. I concur with Dennis as the 08A is the scheduled build date of my car ... January 8, 1971.

    71 is the DSO
    3 is the color
The other 3 is the Axle and the W is the tranny.
